fat loss and strength for women over 40.
I'm Matt Arnold. I've been coaching since 2009. If you are a woman in your 40s or 50s and the old plan stopped working, this page is for you.
the week you actually have.
Jobs, kids, shifts. Maybe 30 minutes. You have tried the diets and the apps. You know the rough idea. It falls apart when the week gets real. You tell me about that week, your food, and anything that hurts. I build your training and nutrition around it, and every week we adjust it together.
what changes in your 40s.
Sleep gets lighter. Cravings show up. What worked at 30 gets harder to repeat. Perimenopause can be part of that. Your cycle, your energy, and your sleep stop lining up with the plan you used ten years ago.
I am a coach, not a doctor. I do not treat hormones, and I do not diagnose anything. If you have symptoms, see your doctor. In coaching, I plan around the sleep, energy, and recovery you actually have. If your doctor has given you limits, those limits win. We do not fight them.
what we work on.
Strength, two to four days a week. Protein at breakfast and lunch. Food you already know how to buy. A shorter session when the day goes sideways. The goal is to lose fat and feel strong. You do not need to train like you are 22.
Home, a gym, or both. Tell me what you have. Most of the women I coach are not starting from zero. They have done this before. They need a plan that survives a real Tuesday.
I wrote a longer note on getting stronger after 40, and one on what to do when the scale stops. Sleep, including perimenopause sleep and shift sleep, is in sleep and stress.
men are part of this too.
Most of the people I coach are women. Men over 40 who want to stay strong, keep up with their kids, and stop a back from deciding the week are in the right place as well. The intake form is where you tell me your week. I will tell you if I can help.
A few minutes. I read it and tell you if I can help.
